1967 - 1969
Tarbo was founded by Leopoldo Tartarini and located in Bologna as a result of a collaboration between an Italian and a Czechoslovak firm Jawa. This provided the engine mounts that Tartarini, often after elaborate on chassis of own production. Models avaliable in 1967 included a 49 cc moped engine horizontally cradled in the tubular chassis with a power of 5 hp at 6500 rpm, the 125 with a power of 8.5 hp at 5600 rpm and a 350 with a vertical matched two-cylinder engine with 22 hp at 5000 rpm and a four-speed gearbox.
