1905 - 1908
Around 1900 the famous Milanese bicycle dealer Max Türkheimer designed an affordable small car with belt drive. This 5.5-hp model OTAV had such success that in 1906 a more efficient model was presented. The new 18/24 hp four-cylinder with two blocks, double ignition, drive shaft and 3-speed transmission was entered in 1906 sporting competitions. In 1908 Otav halted its business activities in wake of the bad Italian economic situation.
