Renato Pirocchi (March 26, 1933 in NotarescoJuly 29, 2002 in Chieti) was a racing driver from Italy. He was the hope of the sport automobile Italian, by the middle of the 50s, lors that he would run in Sports Buses, on Stanguellini with weak capacity. He would become a star of the Italian Junior Formula a little later. He participated in one Formula One World Championship Grand Prix, the 1961 Italian Grand Prix on September 10, 1961 finishing 12th and scoring no championship points.

In 1959, he ran in a Taraschi car and made friends with the driver Bandini, but on the track, there was a sacred rivalry between the two drivers as proved in the Grand Prix of Syracuse. The next year Renato changes teams and joins Stanguellini. He becomes the Italian Champion. His most beautiful victory was during the Grand Prix from Havana to Cuba.

After a successful time in Formula Junior at the turn of the 1960s, Pirocchi participated in several non-Championship Formula One races during the 1961 season, but often failed to qualify. He finished 12th at Syracuse, and shared a drive to 11th place at Zeltweg with Lorenzo Bandini, but was many laps behind on both occasions.

In 1961 he was in F1 with the Pescara Racing team. Not qualified for the Grand Prix of Germany, it retries to Monza with a Cooper T51 getting the 29° place in qualification and 12° in competition and subsequently he decides to retire.

He was for a long time president of the ACI Pescara.
