Deutsch: ein Kegelrad-Ausgleichsgetriebe; erstellt mit den freien Bildbearbeitungsanwendungen Blender und Gimp;
Erklärung: Wenn das linke Zahnrad (rot) auf Widerstand stößt, dreht sich das Ritzel (grün) im Uhrzeigersinn und überträgt so die (übrige) Antriebskraft auf das rechte Zahnrad (gelb).

If the left side gear (red) encounters resistance, the pinion gear (green) rotates about the left side gear, in turn applying extra rotation to the right side gear (yellow).
