Sagliano, located in Salerno and founded by Antonio Sagliano, was a craftsman specializing in the construction of funeral vehicles. The setting obviously affected the taste and the designs of southern Italy, where even in the fifties the hearses that were used frequent were the horse-drawn carriages and so the motorized vehicles adapted their style to them.
